I sort of introduced myself in the EL area but have just seen this one so I will do it properly
I'm 39 and have enjoyed space sims since Elite on my Commodore 64 as a kid and have played them all since. Am big into flight sims and have an X52 and TIR to fully take advantage of this awesome sim. Also like RPG, RTS's and FPS's though just depends on what mood I'm in.
Nothing I have played since Elite has captured that feeling until someone over at SimHQ mention EL and I Googled, downloaded the demo and then bought with a few days. Simply brilliant.
Again a hearthy welcome Red 2, and I'm sure Clan BA and Romulan are standing by to welcome you..Oh, I forgot Romulan already got to you.....LOL...:P:P:P:P

I think, technically, that as this is your 2nd "welcome" thread then you should be on the "list" twice. I'm not sure. There is no procedure for this in the "How to kill a noob" handbook. What do you think Dengar? Kill him, I mean, welcome him twice?
