Purchase now or wait for Mercenaries?

Hey everyone,

I downloaded the demo and played the tutorial a few times. So far i really like it.
I played freelancer w/ discovery and rebalance mods for a while, but for me it gets boring after the story campaign is over. It's just not complex enough to entertain me for a longer time.

I've played Falcon 4 allied force for over 2 years (got a X52 pro) and i love it. I also tried the demo of X3 TC but i don't even want to start when there's no multiplayer.

Now i found this game it looks very promising so far. Printing and reading the strategy guide soon.

Before I'm going to purchase it and try it online, I got a few quick questions:

- Is the new game, Mercenaries, going to be released soon? It's exam time and i don't have so much time to play until like mid october. If i bought legends now, didnt play much and in oct the new game was out, it would be bad invested money.
- are there any good X52 profiles out there and is there a possibility to use the X52 Pro's MFD to show ingame info like in Falcon 4, FSX, etc? -found it already ;-)

so the announcement's there and release will be "fall". i guess i'll wait until then and stick with freelancer discovery until then. can't wait for the new evochron though, the list of improvements and changes sounds wonderful.
