Hey everyone,

A new pilot here, just bought the game and would like to give a big hello to the community

I think the game so far is amazing (after going through the demo) and hope all great things from the devs in the future

thanks everyone!! first time out in MP today.. was graciously given some outstanding pointers by 'babalon 5' and got my ass handed to me in training by warsign and Ash.... lol (in addition to blowing up some astroids)

what an experience.. now if i can just find out how to stop crashing into planets when i come out of warp ill be just fine!!

hiring a navigator will help you out there, at least till you get the hang of it

Yes Navigator is a big help in the beginning, but after that you will soon discover you have to sent him out of the airlock for refusing to accept orders to jump directly to a planets docking station.....LOL....

I hear a lot of you pilots complaining or bragging about how much over you have to pay crewmembers.
My crew must just like me because I only pay them around 150 over their asking rate and they have been with me for some time, thru thick & thin, good & bad, failed contracts and burning ships limping back to dock and they are both at 100/100.
Must just be my charm and the free beer!
Of course, I don't let them read the forum either!;)

I found a hopefully competant navigator... lets just hope he actually can read a map

also what gives with getting killed by renegades while in port looking at the news? and or repairing my ship.... thats like getting killed in a Mcdonalds parking lot with the engine off by gang members.....

we be lackin serious defensive turrets!

answered your own question....

If you buy a station licence you'll be protected from such attacks, but being aware that you might be attacked is the best defense.

In mp if you want to loiter go into the shipyard

The difference is that Evochron has no McDonalds, only Borger Kings and McVonaris......LOL....
