A novice\'s impressions

I would like to thank the veterans who pointed me in the direction of the better frames. I've liked the simulation so far. I've got a well equipped Renegade and I maintain a permanent science officer. My primary revenues come from platinum mining. I've learned how to deal with the swarms (yes swarms!) of red dots in the hostile systems. It's usually better to have a few well picked licenses, make your business brief and thrust the hell out of there when your done. It's better to pick your fights with small groups. I just need to figure how to build a secondary Striker for the beacon four quest (yes I am not a gaming purest and I am using the spoilers) and store the Renegade away...Ciao

Why store, and pay for, a Renegade? You can pick up a brand new one in most places.

You do realise that storage costs you?

And you won't always need a Striker ... in fact, you won't need it long at all.

Relatively speaking....that is....long can be shorter than short depending how long the shortest one is....

I hate paying storage fees! Why would you drain your finances? Pick a ship and build your cash and reputation up.

Yes, I agree with Star King here. You can always save a profile with another build ship and different system locations locations. So you never have to go to far to explore...lol....
