So I have spent most of my Legends time pursuing the Legends beacon questline. Money has never been a problem because I found one of the highest-profit-margin items you can get early in the game (can make over 5M per run)... Anyway, I went happily along until I found I had to complete the frakkin' Renegades beacon questline. I had started that one when I had Renegades, but eventually gave it up... I just wasn't that good at decoding things (got stuck after finding the Fauston beacon... Obviously I had to get one from Onyx but saw no clues as to where to look for that one...)

I had no interest in repeating the brain-boggling, so yeah -- I cheated and got the coords to Riftspace and was back on track with what I *wanted* to do.

Off to Vonari space I go. Now I know I have to find a hidden base and then go 1 sector to the right. Fair enough. I start a search pattern for the hidden base.

After a while, one shows up as a blue icon on my radar. I follow it. There is the little bugger, hidden away inside an asteroid! Sweet! I land. I buy a license. I save. I hop one sector to the right. I do an *exhaustive* search of the system. I must have eyeballed every square inch of that place, including rotating up and down as I went.

At a loss, I checked the strategy guide and learned what many of you probably already know... The station in the asteroid was not the only hidden station.

So if you're stuck trying to find that beacon, I think you want to find a station that is simply sitting out there in space, not tucked away inside a giant asteroid.

LOL.......:P:P:P:P.......There is also a hidden station in Saphire one I can't remember....LOL....

Interesting. I found "the hidden base" from the clue (and subsequently the beacon) but I didn't know there was another hidden base around there. Thanks, I'll go and look for that.
