Wormholes. What purpose so they serve? I learned the hard way about jumping into the middle of one.

The first frame military ship. I was able to buy it, but compared to my tier lvl 7 civ ship it just seemed weak and I can't imagine not having excaliburs anymore. Did I miss smething on its potential.

Lost in Space. I spent about 30 minuts jumping around in Rivoch trying to find something other than blank space and finally gave up and loaded a previous save. Is it that easy to get lost?

Wormholes or Blackholes? Some Blackholes have Wormholes in them that lead to interesting places.

You have to increase yur military rank to get the better military ships and you can do that with your Civie frame.

It is Very easy to get lost is space But if you can get on-line someone can help you find your way back.

When lost, the navigation console is your best friend. A blip on the screen indicates your current position ... showing you how close you are to populated sectors. Pick the closest one, type the coordinates into your destination window, and activate the autopilot.

If you run out of gas along the way ... well, then multiplayer is your best friend. ;)

When I say lost I mean Lost. The NAV screen was blank (Zoomed in and Zoomed out) for about 30 min in Rivoch. No POIs in-sight. Not sure if it was a glitch or some sectors can be that big.

My Navigator stated it was a wormhole (purple ball inside a swirl of gas) Once you get to close though BOOM!!!!

BTW love the Phantom, that would be cool to pilot with a fleet.

Use the Quadrant mode for the nav map, that will indicate how close you are to the nearest populated system and can be used as a guide for which coordinates to punch in to get there.

Yes, there is a lot of space out there :)

But you can still switch to the Quadrant map and see where you are and the nearest system. At least you will be going in the right direction!!
