Anyone manage to land at a Planet Wolf city lately and live long enough to refuel or buy something?

(How they manage to build cities on those planets is beyond me, lol.)
(we've had near a week of flooding and more is predicted, so just the same as usual) when asked when the rainy season starts we generally answer "around the 4th century BC, we'll let you know when it finishes"

Wolf Planet
Where is the Wolf System?
The forum is a kind of strange arena for distributing information. Sometimes, I feel as though I'm sitting in a room with a bunch of wizened (some wiser than others) pilots, exchanging wild stories about their exploits and where to get good deals and where to find interesting things to do, like you might find in a real seaside bar where sailors like to go and exchange stories with other sailors from around the world who are temporarily lodged in the city.
Other times, it's more like a gamer's forum, where people worry about spoilers, exploits, game mechanics, etc. Getting a straight answer out of the community about where a particular planet is, for instance, can either be met by the first group or the second group.
On the one hand, I can appreciate the desire to keep spoilers down, though most of them are in the strategy guide, anyway (I would have thought that working out the clues from each beacon would be something left for each pilot to do for himself).
On the other other hand, space is big. Really big. There are a lot of hidden systems (so I'm told) and I only know of a handful of them. I don't routinely go searching for them, because it is a laborious process that hardly ever produces a result, so I also appreciate the desire for people to keep their locations secret once they've found them because, after all, they did the work to find them and what is the point of doing all that work just to give the info away?
So...
I wonder if there could be a way to compensate explorers for their information? In MP, people are more free with the info, but it seems like it would be cool to have an astro cartographer's club room or something where we could build a kind of map that we update when we find things (and get credit for the discovery). People could post the coords of new systems and we could go and verify them and that way the discoverer could get credit and the rest of us could explore ourselves and verify.

Wolf Planet
LOL, the same here. Landing on Wolf planet is easier then landing on Earth. At least at Wolf planet you reach the surface and then explode. Trying to land on Earth you explode first and then your debris reaches the surface of Earth. Thou the secret to landing on Wolf planet is the same as for Earth.Originally posted by Eclipse
I managed to land there, however, the only thing I was able to do was constantly repair.![]()
Maybe we could ask for a new "weather shield" piece of equipment to allow explorers to operate on planets that have severe weather.
(How they manage to build cities on those planets is beyond me, lol.)
