Station fees for a station i have never been to?

i made it to Andromeda today, but ever since i traveled though rift space, i have been getting messages about paying station fees to riftspace station.

the thing is, i have never been there, didn't even know it existed until the messages started. i intend to visit this station, and see what i can do to resolve this problem.

Older builds could introduce these fees with the right pattern of profile swapping. It could be a carry over from one of those builds. It's easy to remove if you send me your profile attached to an e-mail. Or you can travel there to remove whatever is in place there.

problem resolved, it seems that when i didn't take all the items from the carrier in Andromeda, it got transferred to the station in riftspace.

Ok, good to know. I've check the code for that section and it looks like it should not happen in the 1.170 and higher builds. Moving this thread to the EL forum for future reference in case it comes up again.

Vice, I just had this same thing happen to me, and I am using the latest Release version of the game (I just bought it a couple of weeks ago).

I only had 2 cargo slots so only took 2 items and got the fee notice when I used the black hole back.

It's not a big deal... the actual cost is low. I mention it only in case you're still trying to hunt this one down.

If anyone has encountered this problem specifically (RiftSpace fees showing up after Andromeda retrieval), send me your profile attached to an e-mail.

Edit: I should have this fixed for the next update, including the next test build.

Vice, I think the problem seems to be that what ever they did not take from the carrier in Adromeda gets automatically transferred to storage at riftspace station and charges you a fee regardless of you ever visiting riftspace station as both people reporting this are new to Legends and did not find riftspace station nor ever docked there.....

I had the same problem even thou I have been to riftspace station I never stored anything there. And I use to do trade runs and only got certain items and not all 5 from the carrier in andromeda to sell and every time I did this suddenly I got a Station fee collected message... not knowing that items had been transfered from the carrier to the rift space station. But what these 2 are reporting makes sense now what was happening to me also....

Maarschalk, you have it exactly right, in my case.

I had never been to Riftspace Station, and the items I had to leave behind in Andromeda did show up there -- as I found out when I actually went in search of Riftspace Station today.

I have a save from just before leaving Andromeda and just after leaving it. I'll send them to you, Vice, just in case you're interested in checking things out.
