Quick Tip: Restoring a deleted pilot profile...

Post by Vice »

If you accidently delete a pilot profile in the pilot manager menu, or just want to restore one you deleted, you can restore the lost profile. The game doesn't actually delete the profile from the save data folder (default c:\\sw3dg\\EvochronLegends), it simply renames it in case you want to restore it later. The game will rename your profile with a 'bak' extension (example: pilot0.bak). Simply rename the profile you want to restore with the '.sw' extension and it will again be available in the pilot manager menu.

If I want to copy and save a backup of my profile in case of some unforseen computer crash/system restore do I copy the "pilot0.bak" or the "pilot0.sw" file? It looks like the .sw file is more recent so I gues it'd be that one right?
