Say I have 5 cargo bays. Then if I have 4 <insert name> missles and 1 excal, how would I move the 4 into my missle slot -shoot them off -then equip the excal?

Dock, right click on the missiles in your cargo bay, launch them, dock again, right click on the Excal.

well-is there any way (or will be in future) to equip them without docking? I would be usefull to use heavy missiles to kill capship and then hunt rest of enemies with excalibur

Probably not. The idea was proposed about a year and a half ago and was quickly shot down after an extensive debate/discussion. You can read about it here:

So weapons and equipment loading will require docking to install on your ship.

IMO, it would make the game faster. But with this being a space sim, I can understand why we have to dock to change our weapons load out.Originally posted by Vice
