Will this game play on Microsoft 7?

I may be buying a new PC with Microsoft 7 will I be able to play Evochron Legends?

I heard somewhere 7 has something like an XP mode but not sure.

Several players are already running Windows 7. Generally speaking, if a program works on Vista, it will usually work on 7. You will likely need to make sure your version of DirectX 9 is updated as it may lack needed files, you can update using the web installer here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

Windows Update may also take care of it, but I'm not sure. I don't have my copy of 7 yet.

Legends will run on Windows 7 32-bit...64 bit will run also however...using the WOW layer
results in a fair amount of lag that wasn't present in the 32 bit version under XP. I suspect that the overhead of running an entirely extra version of 32-bit Windows is the culprit. What is the chance of seeing a pure 64 bit version of Legends???
