How do you join up with a friend to have a fleet?

Just wondering how you can join with friends to have a fleet in the game.

You can form your own clan with your friends and be a fleet that way and you can also hire AI ships to form a fleet.

The best way would be to choose a clan tag and have your friends all use the same clan tag before their name and have them all join in multiplayer online in the same sector you will then be able to see on radar with green dots where all your clan/fleet members are.

Look on the clan pages in the role play section and see what clans have to offer then pick one and ask someone in that clan if you can join.

You create a clan by putting your clan name abbreviation in brackets in front of your call sign. For example the biggest clan is Star Destroyers. Their clan tag is [SD]. Now some of [SD] clan members call signs are Cheops their clan leader, Solarwing clan trainer and second in command. So online they would be identified with [SD]Cheops and [SD]Solarwing.

So you can create your own clan with your friends by coming up with a name for your clan and then use the abbreviation of the name between brackets as a clan tag before your call sign and you name your pilot profile accordingly.
