Lost Rucker - Container

I've been stuck for hours trying to find the container in the Lost Rucker sector. My Sci Op. gives me the heading but maybe I'm just not doing something right. Could someone please help?

Have you set pitch correctly?

Also, if the container is near a star (same sector), gravity will pull you off course. Try to compensate for it if this is the case.

Hi austin2863, Welcome to the game and forum. Some containers are on Planets, some in the rings of Planets, Some burried on Planets, some are hidden in Astroid caves or fields, some are near the gravity field of stars. The best way to locate them is to jump out of the sector and jump back in at 3 different locations so you get 3 different headings and 3 different pitches to triangulate the location. Also you sometimes need to fly a long way to find the containers. Look for purple blips on your radar when you get close enough you should see a purple blip on your radar!;)

Yup...triangle is best if you are having trouble finding containers....like Maarschalk said jump out to 3 different sectors and back....you will then have a better Ideal where the containers are located...chances are you will find it by the 3rd jump in and don't forget containers will show up when you are less then 10000 away from them.
