keeping equipment in cargo bay

Post by Lollo1572 »

Hi Space friends!
For two times yesterday I've lost a fuel converter kept in cargo bay ('couse only five equipments can be fitted).
I haven't click on it, I think it happened when I took full of exodous missiles from a secret container to sell them.
Is it a little bug? Or is there something i do wrong?

I did that yesterday. I had planned to complete a contract then load up on platinum at the containers I had located, but the harvesting took WAY too long. When I looked at my loadout screen, both my fuel converter and cherished mantis drive were GONE!

I forgot that a delivery contraact delivers EVERYTHING YOU HAVE in the cargo bays to the waiting ship! No compensation for your aquired items, other than the lesson learned (hopefully...I've made this mistake more than oce...or twice...).

The fuel converter is easily replaced, but oh, woe, my mantis drive...
If you\'re feeling good, don\'t worry...you\'ll get over it.

Ouch....yup those drop off cargo contracts will get ya every time Ardox....hard lesson indeed! Sometimes you can accidentally sell them....I guess storing them else where is better...in a rented hanger I believe and then when your ready to do some military missions you can go back and load up for a fight with the Vonari...Best of Luck getting your equipment back.

:o :o But it should be easy to identify for the program the one cargo bay with the commodoties that are intended to be transported to a waiting ship O.o

Nah, part of the fun - keep track of what you are supposed to do, and don't try and do too many things at the same time, like fight , pick up cargo and deliver goods.

Good pilots should always know what they have in their cargo hold.

Still my old adage - A problem shared is a problem laughed at!!!

I agree, it should be possible to deliver only the cargo to be delivered. Maybe this should be changed to the discard function that you would discard the goods to be delivered when in range of the transporter. Or added as a sub fuction of discard like deliver function! just my 2 cents worth!;)

One way that I had helped correct the problem of loosing all my cargo on a drop cargo contract was to make a multiple save...then if I made a mistake I could load up a different save to get back the items I lost. The best way though is to make sure you have nothing else in your cargo hold when you accept the contract to drop off an item....I do believe a lot of pilots learned that lesson the hard way....but now that I fly a military ship the problem has solved itself...hahaha, no cargo hold on a military ship :D
