First of all, I want to say hello everyone!
I bought this game (Legends) about 3 days ago (after only about 40 minutes in the demo heh), and I have been truly blown-away at the quality and features of this indie title. (let alone an indie title from a one-man team!!) Amazing job Vice. You are a powerful inspiration to a fellow artist/entrepenuer/programmer (although my programming was years ago, and just simple text-based Pascal games lol)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was under the impression that your reputation in a multiplayer server is "locked" to the defaults, so that any reputation gains/losses you get in singleplayer do not carry over to multiplayer. I took that to mean that you could not gain/lose rep in multiplayer, except in the "Dynamic" server. Well I'm not 100% clear on this, so heres my questions:
#1-- Can reputation be gained/lost while in a multiplayer server, or does it stay at the default rep % regardless of the players actions?
#2-- If the reputation % is locked the to the defaults in mulitplayer, does this mean that contract pay will never increase if a player does a bunch of contracts for one group?
#3-- My main concern regarding rep % is how it will affect my contract pay, so how big a factor is it? Is the player's "reliability" rating for not failing contracts and doing several of them consistantly for one group a bigger factor?

Reputation and Contract Pay in Multiplayer
Hello and welcome. Glad you're enjoying the game.
1 - There can be temporary fluctuations while you remain in sector and do various things, but nothing that permanently effects your offline/single player reputations.
2 - For group specific pay adjustments, correct. However, your contract completion record, kill score, and skill rating still follow you into multiplayer, which are primary factors in determining your contract pay.
3 - Not a major factor, your individual ratings and scores related to contracts themselves are the primary factors. Those stay with you in multiplayer.

Reputation and Contract Pay in Multiplayer
Wonderful, thanks for the clarification Vice, and for a speedy one at that!
I was focusing on rep % too much, even though I had read that there were other factors, and was starting to wonder if doing contracts solo on a multiplayer server were worse than just doing those same contracts solo in singleplayer, where rep could grow.
But now I see that there is really no downside to multiplayer, unless of course with server lag or player-killers (neither of which have I even seen yet, lol)
