Ghost ships appearing on my screen only!

Today was the second time it happened.
The first time we were doing missions and after mission was completed I flew to the Station Command A in Siera warzone and in my way there was a transparent human Battle Cruiser not moving just standing still. I could go right through it and go in the middle of it and look through it from the inside out. I entered its location coordinates in my nav log and asked the other two players who where there with me to come check it out. They came to the coordinates but did not see it. Only I could see it. Was kind of intresting I thought! So I exited the Game and re entered and the Ghostship was gone:(

Today it happened again the appearance of the same ghost ship, but this time it was docked and inside the Station and I had saved my last game docked at that station so when I entered the game I found myself inside the ghost ship docked at the Station! and again only I could see it Starking and Gorf who were there could not see it.

Is this a bug Vice?
If it is, maybe there is a way to make ghost ships part of the games objects might make exploring for some players exiting when they encounter one!;)

That's often a symptom of your system losing packets or at least delaying them (particularly when it's only happening on your system). Was your internet connection being used for anything else at the time (ie youtube, downloading, surfing, etc)? Do you share your internet connection? Were you using a wireless connection at the time?

If your system misses certain packets, objects can be left behind and will be reset next time there is a global object gamestate update, which occurs when you respawn or leave the sector.

Thanks Vice that explains it. I use wireless exclusively for internet connection, but when I'm in the game I do not do anything else on the internet! Might be automatic updates for applications accesssing the internet while I'm on multiplayer caussing the lost packets!;)

I don't know about the rest of you... but I'm not buying this. This sounds like the typical government "it was a weather balloon" response.

I'm guessing it was some sort of prototype Klingon vessel. Don't be caught with your shields down!

LOL :P:P:P:P, might be because if I tried to jump to the coordinates I would get destroyed like hitting a solid object!:P
