OK, this is a little annoying. Why is your missile targeting system on all the time?
Is there a way to turn this off? I mean you lock every target that comes into range, including friendlies.
Ships should be able to fly by you without you having to lock them all the time.
Thanks

Missile Lock
It isn't necessarily the missile targeting system, but the missile type itself. If you have a missile in slot 1, it will use its locking system on any ship you put in the targeting gunsight (targeting friendly and moderate ships is an option in this game for a variety of reasons). You can put a different item in the secondary hardpoint or do not install missiles if you don't intend to use them for a while.OK, this is a little annoying.
