Nav Point Question

Post by whammo11224 »

How do you clear nav points? As to not have any on the map? You know, in case of accidentally hitting the F2 button and jumping and wasting fuel.

This has happened to me one more than one occasion.

Thanks

I don't think you can ("clear" a Nav Point). You can alter the *existing* Nav Point.

The next time you load the game, make a couple of observations... a lot of things are in a "cleared" state by default. Notice the CURRENT Nav Point the next time you load the game. By default, it is placed (always, from what I've noticed) on a corner between 4 "sectors" (the closest of these corners? Don't know, specifically ; haven't paid that much attention to it).

You just have to avoid pressing F2 accidently. You will ALWAYS have a Nav Point set, a "Jump Point", by default, regardless of circumstances... even if you have just loaded the game.

or reassign the jumpdrive key:)

I have set it to number pad 0, as F2 was a very annoying button for the jumpdrive key to be set too

You can easly edit button config in option menu>>>configure controls subsection in the game.
