New multiplayer \'launch\' option...

Some of you have asked for a quick-launch command line option for the multiplayer mode. So the next official update will include a '-mp' command line option. To have the game go directly to the pilot manager and then directly to the multiplayer menu, edit the desktop icon link's target line to read:

C:\\sw3dg\\EvochronLegends\\EvochronLegends.EXE -mp

Make sure to place a space between the EXE and -mp. This option will also let you automatically select a pilot profile, then launch directly into the multiplayer menu. To do that, the target line should read:

C:\\sw3dg\\EvochronLegends\\EvochronLegends.EXE -mpX

Where X is the number of the pilot profile you want to load starting at 0 for the top profile. Most players will probably just use the first option so they can manually select which profile they want to use, but this option is available for anyone wanting to use or develop an external launcher program that lets the user select which profile they want to use before the game launches.

This option will be available in the 1.088 build.
