Crew Member Text, logged?

I Hired a science ops specialist and when he advised me about an object location I saw some text on the screen. But the text then popped off before I could write down the coordinates given. I thought that the message would be in the map log, but no... Is there a way to recall the crew members' texts? Otherwise, the feature to hire helpers really isn't very useful to me.

hold alt and / ( I use the one on the numpad, but the other ones probably work too) it'll bring back the last message, you can keep on doing this to recall older messages.
