Some of the system descriptions gives hints about hidden planets and stations, and i've been trying some exploring.
But flying around the "most likely" places and dropping some probes, haven't really revealed anything and space is pretty big it seems

So before spending more time on it, i would like to know if i'm doing the right thing.
Hidden locations in known space.
Q: Does hidden planets/stations show up on nav map when you get close enough ?
Q: Will hidden planets/stations remain hidden after you have visited them ?
Q: Can probes be used to finding planets/stations ?
Ground rules of the universe.
Q: Does planets always need a star to obit ?
Q If so, is there a min/max range the planets have to be from stars ?
Q: How much does nebulae reduce radar detection ?
Deep space exploration.
Q: Does normal stars/planets/stations show up on nav map whitin the quadrant ?
Q: How far away will normal stars/planets/stations visually show up on screen ?
Sorry for all the questions, i know i could answer some of those if i just looked up the spoilers, but at least for now i would prefer to do it the hard way.
Thanks in advance
This is for Evochron Legend I'm assuming, for Renegades it is a bit different.
Question 1, A. Yes within about 10 sectors, sx,sy,sz
Qustion 2, A. They are not realy hidden form your Nav, most of them are just a little bit far about 8 to10 Mantis jumps away, about 80 to 100 sectors. Once you find them you can enter the coords in you Nav log, for easy navigation!
Question 3, A. I don't know, but I do not think so, since they already show up when you get with in range!
Question 4, A. No they don't there are other forces in the universe that can strip planets from their star, but all objects in space get subjected to different gravitational forces like black holes, Galaxies, Different sizes and kind of star.
Question 5, A. So their distance to a star can vary greatly depending on its Gravitational and other forces of the Universe!
Question 6, A. The Nebula shows up on your Nav map when you are in Range, but the objects hidden within the Nebula are not always visible on your Nav. And again Nebula vary greatly in their definitions of size and forces!
Question 7, A. Yes. See answer question 1.
Question 8, A. See answer question 1.
Hope I did not give to much away!;)
