Beacon quest(s)- 1 of my wishes

how do the beacon quests work mr vice ?

Possible for users to create there own beacon quests?.

create config text file with location information and some link to object placing and then this relating to any story text to be included.

I reckon an addition of this sort could open up a whole role play avenue not touched yet.. could be used by clans for further role play. could be used for a treasure hunt. or a communal race of sorts.. clan navigation training, could make use of all that empty space too. this idea is at the top of my personal wish list now im fairly aquanted with this game..

Nice question Ali, and I wonder how can I add new kind of missions too.

Yes, absolutely. They work by using the beacon message system available to scenery objects. The customizing kit offers details on the options available ( http://www.starwraith.com/evochronlegendscustomkit.zip ). You can display a text message, image, or play a sound file. You can also specify requirements for cargo, ship frame, or equipment before a message is displayed, just as in the default game.

feel a bit silly having missed that. what the heck is the community doing about this

get it together is what i say. i want to be quested

. but im shit at writing stories .... but up for helping anyone who wants to start somthing here. ....

actually i have an idea story for my dark old-school cockpit mod. but u might have to find it in space first.
