Stealth device, gerator and field

Can anyone clarify the difference between these three items?

stealth device : either a generator or a field, generic term for either/both

stealth field: equips in a missile slot, gives 60s of stealth time, needs full energy to iniate

Stealth generator: equips as equipment, reusable, needs full shileds, depeltes shields, uses energy, time determined by 'bias' given to energy.

Stealth Generator: Unlimited usage, but when it's activated, drops your shield energy level to zero, duration depends on your energy replenish rate.
You can carry it in your equipment bay (near your fulcrum drive for example)

Stealth Field: Disposable stealth type,you can carry it like a missile in your missile bays, don't drain your shield's power, you can use them one after another and it's duration is static (60 seconds).

Both of them are called stealth device...

Another difference is a stealth generator costs about 30 million credits more than a stealth field.

), you have to buy/find Stealth Generator.

Warsign,Thanks for Clearing Up the Differences in Stealth Eqiup.You just saved me 235K!lol.
I'm Flying a Gaurdian,Eng10,Sheild,10,CB1,Class2FuelTank,Class6Wing.I'm carrying a TractorBeam,Fulcrum5,Cannon Rail System,Sheild Boost5,RepairSys3.
My Weapons are a Predator Cannon and a NeoLaser with 8 Exodus Missles.
I have a Weapons Op and an Engineir as Crew. I feel I'm pretty much "Loaded for Bear",though everytime I'm in Combat I'm up Against Multiple Ships also "Loaded for Bear".lol.It's sometimes Frustrating when I Upgrade either Frame or Equip my Hostiles seem to do the Same, but that's another Story.
I'm in Orion having left my Quest in Cerulean to Upgradeee my Ship(Heading to Deneb,just found out the ONLY GATE is in AlphaCentari!lol)So I'm on my Way.
I was just about to Buy a Stealth Feild(235K+ in Orion when I thought that seamed like Quite the Deal for a Re-usable Device that Renders You INVISIBLE,both to Sensors and Visually for 60Secs.So I thought I'd check it out.I was About to purchase One(even though I found it Odd that it was Mounted on a Missle Hardpoint)whrn I found your Post.If I hadn't I would have been going into my Second Spy Mission thinking I'm Invisible and getting my AS* Shot Off!lol.After Deneb I'm heading back to my Quest.Now I Know that I need to find and Purchase a Stealth Generator,Multiple Use and that it Mounts as Equip.
Sorry for being so long-Winded but I'm really Loving the Game and Your Tip is Going to Help Me Out and Save me some Hard-Earned Credits!

You can always store it (Excalibur pack) in a cargo bay to make room for other missiles,;)
