I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea of the number of successful mission required to bring about an improvement in system reputation?

I have been floating around in Olympus Prime for some time now and have completed roughly 60 missions for the Navy/Energy people but have yet to effect any change. Both factions are at 100% and have been for some time, as a consequence the rebels are no longer my friends.;) As I'm currently sitting on about 12 million I would like to spread my wings and see what the other systems have to offer.

This is my 1st Evochron experience and I apologise if this is a stupid question.

The game is excellent and there is clearly a lot I'll have to learn, such as how constructs work, and what or where is a beacon. :)

You should be just about there. What are the rebel and guild reputations at? It might now just take a few attacks on wandering rebel or guild ships passing by to complete the process.

Rebel and Guild are at 0% and 16% respectively.

What is the most productive method of effecting change? Is it OK to keep doing delivery and recovery missions, or are combat operations more effective?

I'd stick with combat for now.

You were right, all it took was to shoot down a pair of guild craft and my rep increased. :)

I had to go looking for them though, as shooting down rebels had no effect (I shot down 6 before mis-jumping into an asteroid and having to reload:D). I will pay more attention to the percentage bars from now on.

Thanks for the swift help. :)
