Bought it!

Post by Elvisman2001 »

I have bought every incarnation starting with Evochron.
This one sounded good so i put the order in.
Hopefully, i can find the time to actually play this one!
But, i don't mind supporting Vice's awesome work. i try to tell everyone i can about these games any time i meet someone with a spaceflight/trading/combat game interest.

See you in space! Maybe.
:P

You'll have a blast. Visit Agate once, it's near Sierra. :)

I too just purchased this game. I came too the website and saw that it was released and it was a no-brainer for me, the Evochron games need no introduction for me as i know its gonna be great.

I purchased Renegades awhile back and had a blast with it in multiplayer, i remember doing alot of contracts with Braveheart and many others...good times:) my callsign was for Renegades was Raven and ill most likely use the same one since im not that creative at making names..:(
Im hoping i can jump into Legends and play again if i can get time hopefully. College homework and Fallout 3 have got me stranded right now but i hope to see everyone soon.
I would like to say thank you to Vice once again ;) for bringing us what is possibly one of the best space-sims on the market.

just some vista issues at first when i tried logging in, which if i run it in compatibility mode (windows XP service pack 2)it works fine.
For now it seems to not launch properly in vista for me. Ill try to mess with it over the weekend and do a test run online. time to dust off the ole controller :P

High digitalpunk, welcome back.

As for the starting issue, try downloading the latest build at this link:

http://www.starwraith.com/evochron_legends.exe

The older one had a problem with the start menu icon (the desktop icon works fine). The build above corrects it.
