Hi there,
I've been working hard on reputation in Fauston ;) and decided to hire some Navy folks to fight my enemies.
Well, they seem to be a bit daft/lazy - they start shooting missles at the very beginning, and... that's it.
They run out of missles quickly and I have to do 90% of the dirty work ;)
I mean it's good to have them flying with me but they cost 50k each...
They can help a little but I wouldn't suggest having more than 4 of them at one time.
Or perhaps I'm not using them properly? :D
Cheers

4 is probably about the limit you want, simply because of the expense related to what help they could offer (essentially saving you missiles and time). Yes, they do require some tactical consideration to use most effectively. If you give them the order to attack at a long range, they'll do just that and attack with the only weapon they can use at that range... missiles. So wait until you get closer before ordering them to attack. Ideally, just under 1000 is a good range for them to engage, they might launch a missile or two, then can engage with guns once they reach about 500 meters. Also, don't just leave them wondering around after an initial engagement, order them to regroup, then cycle additional attacks using the same range technique. You'll likely find they are more effective with these tactics.
