Totally Newbie Question

I am disappointed that the demo is time-limited. I got "stuck" and have a real newbie question. I can't play the demo trying to figure out the answer to my question without running out of time.

By the way, I am disappointed that the forums wouldn't let me sign up with my gmail e-mail account!

Okay, here goes:

I started the game and get a random mission. What does the nav/waypoint look like? I see an "object" (bunch of grey dots) near the first planet that is there at the beginning. Can I move the zoomed-in map around to find the nav point? What would it be labelled as? I have to use the thing to select only text for objects, planets, etc. The training section should go through this in more detail, allowing you to actually go to a Nav point!

It's labeled as 'NAV' on your HUD and as a yellow X on the nav map. After you accept a contract, it's also labeled as 'WAYPOINT', your nav computer is automatically locked on to the waypoint for you, all you have to do is either fly there or press F2 to jump there. You don't need to move the map, the yellow 'X' symbol will mark the nav point and a green X marks the waypoint. The training does cover jumping to a nav point, you may have skipped it. Consult the included instructions for far more detailed information and if even more is needed, the strategy guide has a very elaborate section on navigating in 3D space using the ship's navigation systems.

Uninstall the game and delete the \\EvochronRenegades folder in the c:\\sw3dg folder, then reinstall it to reset the demo timer. Since an hour and a half wasn't enough time for you, stay in the training mode and practice with the navigation system, you can do that as long as you like without any reduction in the demo time.
