General System Notice

Folks

Recently I have started to get a flash message on the HUD "General Syatem Notice, New Item Available". Then my ship jumps to an apparent random area in the sector. Most annoying when I am about to pick up some booty from a Bad Guy I have just blown up!!

What is this and how do I lay my hands on this "New Item"?

Are you using the 1.508 build? Builds at or before 1.458 could still encounter this.

I was running 1.458. Last night I upgraded to 1.508, but haven't run it yet. So I guess the "new item" was a bug, fixed in the latest. I wil see if I get in the new version.
