EL - Thunder in Nebulae
I am enjoying the game but I have a question. While mining in the nebula, the thunder to me seems excessive. I would like to just sit back and listen to the drone of my mining laser and some tunes while I mine. The thunder is okay except it seems to happen way too often for me. It would be nice if it only did its thing every 1-3 minutes or so. Is there a way to modify how often it happens or even disable it? Thanks for all the hard work.

Hello and welcome. Yes, you can replace the sound effect itself with either a custom reduced sequence or a blank. Simply create a \sounds folder in the game's install folder and put a WAV sound file named 'thunder.wav' in it with the effect you'd prefer to hear. Details on many other options are available in the customizing kit: https://www.starwraith.com/evochronlega ... readme.htm

Re: EL - Thunder in Nebulae
So, another question. I found a nice thunder .wav but I'm not sure if it's just me or what, but the interval between flashes seems higher now that I have a shorter .wav. Does the interval key on the length of the .wav being played?
BTW, here is the .wav I found for anyone interested in doing the same. http://soundbible.com/1905-Thunder-02.html

No, but there can be pockets of higher electrical activity in nebula clouds.

Okay thanks. I wondered if that might be the case.
