List of Clans?

Hey, I was wondering what you guys think about the idea of starting a clan list or clan section/thread for the E:L clans. I remember when I first showed up here reading about IM and HB and all the other clans that seemed to be a thing, but I couldn't find any resources on how to contact or apply with any of them, or if they were even still active. I had to track Marvin down in the deep space of Orion Sigma to confirm that IM was still a thing, and assuming IM was the only clan left in the game, instead of attempting to join them I started Ghost Fleet. I was thinking it might not be a bad idea to have a resource for new players and even old players who want to experience the clan dynamic, and list the active clans in the game, who is running them, how to get in touch, etc. Not only would this open up the community dynamic a bit more to new players, but ideally it would also spark more clan-to clan interaction hopefully spicing up the gameplay a bit, as well as giving newer enterprising players more motivation to stick with the game and hang out in MP.

The "official" clan posts used to be stickied but, when the clans all started to die out the posts were unstickied and expected to either remain on page one with continuous postings ... or disappear as they drifted further into the back pages from lack of participation.

Sad face. Well, when I get a little more free time, I'm planning on putting together a little impromptu street freebie add campaign thing (with Vice's permission, hopefully), make a digital flier and whatnot, and throw some adverts around to try and get more players into the game, and thus on the forums and into clans. There's too much potential in E:L multiplayer not to have a larger player base, so I'd like to do my part toward remedying that.

You are welcome to promote clan recruiting how you want to, including use of the game's screenshots/image media in such a promotional effort. If things pick up in that direction, I can start to set up the multiplayer section of the forum for more clan threads, events, and discussions (which is where such things have generally been posted in the past).
