(Legacy) Bigger Ship

How do I get a bigger ship?

I go to the ship yard pick a frame I want, then click on "Trade", screen goes blank for a second, then I back at the station screen.

Any ideas?

Hi Krasny,

Are you dragging the frame over to the centre panel? It is not enough to just click on the frame you want. You have to drag it and "drop" it into the main image in the centre. Then click "trade and exit". Of course if you don't have enough money you won't be able to buy the new frame!

Also the frame you choose depends on 2 factors:

1. Is it available at that station? If it is dark grey/black colour that means it's not available in the station. The more advanced frames are found in higher tech systems.

2. Is your rank high enough? Some frames are not available to you until you reach a certain rank (sorry can't remember exactly which rank):
