I have a question about the simulated options that make changes to commodity prices, economy/technology levels, and territory control levels.
Mostly I am interested in the commodity prices but also the technology levels.
For faction levels I think leaving this purely player driven is best for me.
The question is really about player made stations and what effects they have on
commodity prices, economy/technology levels.
I know stations don't effect faction levels at all anymore but what effects might be seen by
having stations with huge numbers of storage modules or large numbers of production modules?
In the server that I was playing in, the commodity prices have hit rock bottom just about everywhere with all the simulated options off.
Is there any way players can counter this by building types of station modules?

Modules will effect the technology level, but commodities are strictly trade driven. So modules won't help, but various trade/transport methods can.

oh thanks.
It is sounding like the ideal simulated options for me would be on for commodities off for tech and factions.
If a server started with the commodities simulation options off,
would turning them back on now without a complete restart be ok then?
I am guessing that I can not change any of the sim options in my single player game except at the very start?
