[HELP] How do I find constructor stations?

I'm completely fresh off the boat with Evochron and need a little help.
I've looked but all the stations I dock at are regular stations.
How do I find them?
Also where can I find a target scanner.
I've looked but all I can find are cargo scanners.

Do the first quest to find a target scanner. As for constructors, I eventually got mine by asking AI pilots ... paying them for information.

Didn't know there was a quest to find one. Is it listed under station contracts?

Do you mean a Construct station - where you convert Hysrogen, Platinum, Metal to other items? or do you mean a Build Constructor?
If you mean a Construct station then, in EM at least, their are a few in Sapphire - one near the moon in sector -3 0 2 I think (sorry can't remember the planet name off the top of my head) it is that you can't see well in the Nav Map and I think one inthe asteroid field at Erato or Erato II (forget which) and maybe one other.
If it's EL you refer to then I have no clue since I can't run itand don't know what may have changed in it compared to EM.
If you mean a Build Constructor then as Marvin said, in EM youj can get them fairly easy from AI Information Request, especially near the Fauston Gate in Sapphire (in EM anyway) - other than that you ahve to find a hightech area that sells them (easy in EM on Outer Rim server) - don't know about EL.

I am playing EL
I mean a construction station but I've been told that they've changed it around since EM so all stations have construction in the form of an engineering bay but i have no idea what to do there.
As for the target scanner I still can't find them haha

There is an engineering station inside the city or stations, just click on enter city/station. That's where you combine materials in recipes for items. There is a construct in EM where you would do something similar. You could take raw materials and build things, but I don't think that is in EL.

To begin a quest, start with this tutorial: http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12206

Eventually there will probably be another tutorial ... one for Engineering. The option is available when docked but, to use it, you must have a template for the item. Templates can be found in data drives, wreckage and other places. More information can be gleaned as you complete one of the quests.
