I decided to finish the I.M.G. quest and entered the Sierra system. I did not get that 'Welcome Aboard' feeling! Eek! I had to kill 13 hostiles just to enter the station long enough to restock missiles. More hostiles had spawned, and were firing at me in the station. I scooted out and immediately went to reverse thrusters to get out of range. I counted over 50 missiles fired at me.
I jumped to another station but couldn't enter it because it was blocked by a battleship and a dozen more hostiles. After killing 4 more, I jumped out of the system to collect my thoughts. How the heck did you guys handle Sierra? I'm thinking of creating my own station and entering a long drawn out war of attrition. Is there a better way? I'm going to take some Tylanol now and try to get some rest.

The hot-docking from a jump technique, then immediately paying the docking fee and using the 'Enter Station' button in the docking console is probably the best way to get access to the station you need to take the IMG contracts from.

Thanks guys. I'd overlooked the 'Enter Station' mechanic. However, I think I will get some more experience before trying Sierra again. I'm going to check out the military platforms. Vince, a Klingon battle cruiser would be nice.
