Hi guys,
Can someone give me a quick rundown of where and how to install a cockpit mod? I grabbed the Silicum Perch cockpit, and I'd love to get flying with it.
Many thanks!

Where/How To Install A Cockpit Mod?
Heya, I just picked up EvoMerc today and I also installed that mod earlier.
It is really simple and the only thing I can think of that might not be right is that Im not sure whether you have the latest version of that mod.
The version I used is named
Silicum v2.0 [Perch cockpit].rar
By Viper.
This version has worked flawless so far.
Anyway, it is as simple as going to your install directory,
for me that was,
C:\\Games\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Evochron Mercenary
It could be different depending on whether you use steam or not.
That is where you will place the folders in the .rar file.
I unzipped it to my desktop and then drag it to that folder,
C:\\Games\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Evochron Mercenary
repeated just to be thorough.
That is it. Run the game enjoy awesome cockpit and hud.
I hope I didn't overstep my bounds with a first post folks.
Glad to help and loving this game so far.

In the EvochronMercenary folder you create new folder named hud. From post: 176286, Topic: tid=11882, author=DDoutel wrote:Hi guys,

In the hud folder you put all the necessary files you want to use and make any necessary changes to any of the necessary txt files (which you may need to read about in EvochronMercenaryCustomKit.zip).
Some things can be easy and some can be a bit complex depending on your needs.
I made quite a few changes due to my eyesight - but it's been many months and lord I can't even remember what all I did at this point. It's terrible getting old.
Vice answered a lot of email questions for me.

Thanks to both of you gentlemen; I had just discovered the customization kit by chance, and read through the readme in it just before checking back here to post that I had!
Greatly appreciated!
