EM Option settings

Can some one clear up something for me.
The Star Detail setting.
Is that a setting for the Stars (coronas) that allear in systems or is it referring to the level of detail for the 6 sides of the Star backscape of the Sandbox images???

I think it's for the background stars. Easy to test: select a lower setting and see if the background stars become bigger pixels.

I can't see that Low Star detail and Medium Graphics Detail really help my problem much versus the two being set at High (in MP).
Or maybe it helps a little when I'm in contracts with others - maybe the ships & icons don't jump around quite as much.
I just need more power. Oh well.

If the game runs fine in SP with high settings but jumps around in MP, then it's probably your Internet connection that's the main problem.
