Howdy,
IMG is trying to kill me with the missions it's giving me now. The last one was kill enemies at two waypoints. First time I was feeling cocky. died.
The second try, I recruited 4 AI pilots and an impossible mission was a piece of cake. I did suffer the loss of one pilot. Poor Dusty, he will be missed.
My next mission is to spy on a Cap ship that has 4 escorts. I died real fast. I know their is a cloaking device somewhere. I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

I did a spy contract in Talison Conflict and it took me about 3 or 4 of the Stealth devices that you store in missile slots. From post: 173158, Topic: tid=11633, author=Vampyre wrote:Howdy,

I tried on using a Stealth Generator and it didn't really give me enough time.
I think each Stealth device is about 60 seconds (or it may be 90 - I forget).
I think the Stealth Generator gives you 3 minutes but during that time it's depleating your Energy.
So if I were you I'd try to get some of the Stealth Devices to use for Spy contracts.
Some of the Old Timers may have a different point of view.
I do whatever I can get to work for me.

I load two stealth devices in weapons and fire off the first one when approaching the cap ship. While sensors scan the ship, I set a waypoint at the far side of the sector. If necessary, the second device is deployed. When scanning is completed, I either use afterburner and inertial or the jump drive to bug out of the immediate area.

I've fond the stealth missiles in Atlas. Haven't had a chance to use them yet. Guess should dismiss my wingmen as well. Thanks for the help.

Unless your wingmen insist on engaging the enemy in situations where they get killed unnecessarily, I'd keep them ... assuming you can afford their fee. In a test I did a couple days ago, I found that my wingmen will hang around in SP while I complete a contract or two in MP. When I returned to SP ... they joined up immediately. So, that's one solution to keeping them safe (an option you'll want to seriously consider if you plan on using FTs). I have no idea if wingmen get better as time goes on but ... why chance losing a few good men?

They may just a string of ode and some pretty pixels but letting them die all Willy Lily is bad. I'm going to try giving them the refuel/reload command before I engage the enemy.
