I just tried to race., lost again.. Oh well I am off to start my career as a professional beggar.
In a big ship I've practically never won a race. I just quit trying since it lower the loyalty of my crew. It even not so easy with my Firestar - but I'm for sure not the best pilot around.
I don't think I've ever won one of those "timed" races no matter what frame I try.
I understand that, in certain cultures, professional mendicants can get by well enough.... But, beggars can't be choosers. Gotta take whatcha get! Sorta like 'Free Puppies'... or 'Free Lunch'.... I mean, begging in Atlas can't be all that bad... could it ?

I think you've started a new way for mercenaries to survive in Evochron Vampyre! Vice should add "begging" to the list of things you can do in this game, along with combat, trade, mine, race, etc. LOL
The Space Hobo starts the game with no money, a dirty rag, a squeegee, a bottle of dirty water and a patched up EVA suit. He tries to clean canopies as they pass him on their way to and from a station for spare change or used tobacco products.
I wonder how it affects you reputation - still with $7+ million I guess you don't need to care much!
