Hi all.
I was wondering if EM could support staged/multiple bindings for control devices.
What I mean is can we have it so that let's say my joystick trigger fires beam only, but if I hold another button on my stick and press the trigger, it will fire PC only.
So the bindings might read (numbers just for example)
Fire Beam : Button 0
Fire PC : Button 2 + Button 0
On a side-note, today I noticed one of my axes were unresponsive. I entered the options and tried to rebind but there was no ingame response on the axis bars from the unresponsive axis.
A little worried, I saved and quit, and checked the calibration menu for my stick, thinking perhaps the axis had failed. But it was working fine.
It's not a device ID problem, all the other axes are working fine in the ingame calibration except this particular one. Any ideas?
Many thanks

Control bindings - suggestion and problem two for one thread
I use a Saitek X52 Pro and have it set up so the first part of the trigger pull is beam only and the second part is beam + particle - this was done in the game options. The pinkie can also be programmed as a 'shift' key (though I just use it to toggle Inertial). I've not tried it in the game options but it's easy to set up a button to have two functions in the stick programmer. Perhaps your stick has similar options?
As for the unresponsive axis - did you go to options directly from the game? Have you tried it since you fully exited the game. I've had a couple of stick issues that were solved simply by exiting and restarting the game. Which axis is it that's glitching?

Heya DaveK,
Cheers for the replies by the way.
I have an X52 Pro as well actually.
Yeah I suppose I could use the SST program to create a custom profile. I actually had one made before but I lost it, and I was too lazy to make a new one! I have nearly everything assigned ingame, it's just that theres maybe 2, 3 or 4 bindings that I could add and I'd be golden.
But no worries, I guess I'll just stop being a lazy ass. As a small aside, DCS World has a beautiful control config screen, one of the best I've seen.
Since I posted the axis problem is fine - it was the horizontal rotary on the throttle which wasnt showing up, after restarting it was fine though.
