Hi
I recently started playing EM after the failed release of x rebirth,
I am an old space sim player and started out years ago with elite
and have always wanted a more updated version of it.

I played the x3 series and have been a member of EvE online for over 6 years, which now I can only bare in small doses.

EM is great its like EVE,elite rolled into 1 without the chores of skilling that eve has.
been playing a few days now and I am delighted sofar, its got just about everything I need for my space sim fix :)

Hi trigg - welcome to the game. there is a good sample of more 'experienced' players in the community. I started with Elite on the BBC B Micro in 1981. EM is the game I dreamed Elite could be if only we had 'super computers' to play on - we now have and it is! :P

Hi Trigg, welcome to the game and forum!, I to was an Elite fan playing it on a Spectrum 48zx!....
and there was nothing like it till I found the Evochron games!....;):P:cool:
