advertising projections

Hi guys!

I am new to EM, playing it for a couple of days now and having a blast here.

At the moment I am tweaking the game a tad using the mods presented here and I was wondering if you can change those advertising projections that you can see at some of the small stations.

Nope, not that I know of. Those advertisements are hard-wired into the game, at those locations where found.

What Busch said. In Legends, you could change them in the single-player game because the universe file wasn't compiled. But, to protect the secrecy of some of the new stuff found in the Mercenary universe, the corresponding file has been compiled.

Yes, there was even a base that had a banner that was advertising that is was a Secret base in bright red letters in Legends.....

Actually there could be a new commercial opportunity here.

Charge rent on advertising space and sell it on to enterprising pilots offering services (or they could cut out the middle-person and rent directly from the Local Authorities!)

^ Would be cool. But problem would definitely be over-spamming in MP and potential for offensive messages that no server op would want to spend time gleaning through the logs to find and eliminate daily...

I was thinking more the expensive elite adverts (like Rolex @ Christmas) - rental would be expensive and a change of advert would be an extra cost. The taste police would also have to approve your advert
