Hi hate to ask such a noob question, but does anyone know which control operates scanner for evochron mercenary? been looking but for the life of cant find it, thanks in advance for any help.

It's a perfectly legitimate question. Scanners are automated, so you don't have to press a key or button to activate them. Once they are in range of something they can scan, whether it's a cargo scanner or a ship scanner, they'll do their job and provide the information to you (and in the case of the ship scanner, once the scanning process has been completed).
