Evochron Mercenary

Hi, I bought Evochron Mercenary a while ago on Steam, but since my recent switch to Linux, unfortunately I can't play it anymore. Is there the possibility of a Linux version of Evochron Mercenary? Or maybe instructions as to how to get it to run under Wine? (And yes, I already looked in the AppDB of Wine, according to the reviews, it doesn't run)

There won't likely be a Linux version, as much as I'd like to. So you'll likely need to dual boot to Windows for the required compatibility.

Could I then maybe get some help on setting it up via Wine? For example, which libraries are needed to run it?

If you send me a reminder e-mail, I can try to put together a list of the default dependencies. But its dependencies go beyond standard libraries as it has a number of custom internal libraries that just aren't compatible with Linux and I don't think there is any way to get them to work. For performance, compatibility, functionality, and stability, your best and probably only viable option is to dual boot to Windows.

Okay, the internal libraries make it sound rather excrutiating to even try running it through Wine. Maybe I will get a processor with virtualization support soon so I can try running it in a qemu-windows.
