Lore?

Hi, this may be a silly question, but is there any centralized source for the in-game lore? I've seen information about the planets on the tech-guide thing posted around here (awesome job on that btw!), but I'm curious as to the overall back story - and I have no idea what a Vonari is or looks like, etc. So... where do I find out all this stuff?

I only know what vonari pieces look like. I've never been able to recover an in tact body.

But rumors say they look like dogs.

Thanks, MiaZ! That really helps - I like a bit of role-playing in my sandboxes, so it always helps to know the background of a setting

There's an expanded version of the history in the collected short stories book, also available a SeeJay's site:

Details about the Vonari are classified - there are a few hints here and there about their origins but you'll need to search them out. There are also rumours that SeeJay's upcoming quest will reveal more background as you progress through it. It should be 'published' soon

Right on. Who is SeeJay? Is he the official lore-guy? I know that Vice makes the game, but that's about all I know, lol.

Also: I'm assuming the giant ring around earth from all the screenshots is some sort of defense emplacement... but why can't you land there, and why is there no gate?

Hello Itharus! SeeJay is Clan Lead for the [HB] Clan. He's also rather handy with crafting things like web-sites and Quests. An all-round great guy, who's done a lot of great work to help educate new pilots in the Evoverse. Including, and not limited to, the game information he's made available on those web-sites.
