Out of Fuel remedies 2075

Many thanks to the guys at Olympus Prime yesterday for the load of fuel delivered cheerfully and so promptly it freaked me out.

I had not been to MP before and was shocked at how seamless the experience was in the EM universe. I am still unnerved a bit and wondering if the Matrix creeps out at night while I sleep. (I did not sleep well.)

I have a hundred questions, but the first two are...

1. When I tried to save progress with my remapped keys, I couldn't save.

2. When I get ready for a combat lesson, would it be best to ride a turret or what?

Let's say in the year 2075 I am hunkered in a cave somewhere with my WinXP setup hooked to a 12 volt battery, enjoying the EM fun.

....and I run out of fuel! No fuel station. No Converter. No...

Vice is still alive in a nursing home somewhere in Bangladesh, but the EM multiplayer community has been disbursed due to the closure of the Internet in 2014.

Is there any way to get a fuel reload in SP via the files in the EM folder? Can Vice do a fuel reload in an emergency? Will I have to hand carry my pilot profile to Vice half way around the world?

Luckily I was in the system next to yours!
My quicksave remapped shortcut works well, I use F5.
Indeed turret can be a good way to learn the basis, but nothing beats practice

Remember: you can't save while in the middle of a contract.

LOL....Dorn!......When you get to that time period make sure to save a Pilot profile slot while you still have plenty of fuel before starting the adventure where you run out of fuel!.....
