Installation on a laptop

Post by rsksmiles »

Greetings fellow space farers!

I have just purchased EM and before I install the game I just wanted to check something.

I played the demo on my laptop - I have a Compaq 8510w with 4gb, windows 7 and a geforce quadro 570fx gfx card. While playing the game one of the cores overheated and the system shutdown. I have since bought a cooler base which seems to do a good job keeping it cool but in about 30 minutes of demo gameplay I cant be sure.

So (eventually) the question is if I install it on my laptop (which I would prefer to do) and it subsequently overheats will I be able to un install and reinstall on a desktop? Or will I be stuffed with the license?

I will be buying another license this weekend for one of my sons to use to install on his desktop (yes I have a surplus of computers in my house - I believe my excuse is redundancy) so I am not trying to fiddle anyone - I just don't want to fiddle myself by being obliged to get another license having blocked the 1st on the laptop!

Any ideas fellow dog of war?

rsksmiles, I recommend you use a laptop cooling pad if it starts overheating.:)
