Hanger storage

I have the contents of 4 cargo bays stored, and I am not sure of how to sell this stuff.

The sell button doesn't seem to work.

You have to load them in your ships Cargo Bays!.

You can only sell things from your ships Cargo bays and equipment slots!......

And then go back to hangar storage and load those items, right.

Seems like I lost one container's contents when I tried to swap? 5 equipment slots full and 5 cargo bays in storage. Tried to swap and lost it.

Or did I lose the item for another reason?

Save your pilots profile before you do anything. This way you can load the backup if something goes wrong. This applies to most things.

That's a really good point and I had not thought about, especially in those kinds of instances.

So the weird thing, I think, is that I can store, and exchange all of the equipment slots in this instance, but cargo slot number 4 will not load back into any equipment slot . I have tried shuffling equipment slots around, opening up different ones, but I can't get the #4 cargo slot to load.

Are you trying to load from Hangar storage Slot #4 to equipment slot on ship?

If so you can not, I think.

First you have to load the Equipment from storage in to a Cargo bay on your ship and then transfer it from your Cargo to an empty equipment slot......

Also what is the Equipment you are trying to load?

Correct. But, keep in mind, when you exit the Hangar, the game auto-saves.

I have a charge pack in slot 4 in storage at Olympus Station.

When I free up other equipment slots by placing the items in storage, they load back into equipment slots just fine. It is only the # 4 slot with the charge pack that will not move back into any of the 5 equipment slots.

Weird.

Charge packs are a secondary hardpoint item (green, not yellow), so they will only mount to the cargo bay and then to a secondary hardpoint. They can't be transferred to an equipment slot.

That did the trick. I reinstalled a cargo bay and was able to move the stored item back to the ship and sell it.

Yes, that is why I was asking what the equipment was, because I knew that for one of the equipment hardpoints you needed to load them in your ships Cargo bay first but I could not remember which one primary or secondary!....
