Perhaps I am missing something, but when I search for threads that I have seen in the past about this topic or that, the results NEVER come up with what I am looking for.
In fact, the results are so non useful I wonder why I am wasting my time trying to search.
There are so many really wonderful threads on all kinds of topics. How does one find them when the search results are so poor?
I have tried many different ways of phrasing the search terms and no luck with any of them.
Is this a function of the search engine parameters being so general, or could I be doing something to make the Search work?

How to search forums
It may not be the best of search functions but I have found that you need to feed it little bits of info at a time. If anyone has better knowledge please post here. Also you may need to search the entire forum not just under one heading in case info has been posted in more than one or an inappropriate one.

How to search forums
Make sure to select:
1. Subject
2. Post body and Subject.
3. All Forums and Sub-Forums
4. From the beginning
5. Search
You should see now all the threads that has the subject you'r looking for listed on the first page in order from the newest post to the oldest post.
Go to the bottom of the first page if you did not see what you are looking for in the first page and click in the lower right hand corner for the next page......etc....etc....!

Thank you,
That helped a bit. And If I just kept going back page after page I found some of the threads I was looking for.
