Galactica 1 log in problems

For some time now I seem to have many pilots say to me that they are Unable to log on to the server. Normaly with a message that says the game is full or the Udp port in not responding from server. However at the same time i have been online playing with other pilots or have checked the server and all seems well.
I have noticed a pattern that it seems to be pilots from accros the pond so to speek or pilots that are further away that are having this problem.
So far i have tried Re boots and IP changes but no luck ....

Any one have any imput or ideas about this as i would like to see G1 as busy as it used to be.........

Hmmm.... might be something related to response times?

Since they're further maybe the ping/response time take too long to complete successfully.

Well, connection form Australia has always been good since i could actually access it - which started about a month or 2 ago.

Not sure about other people...

I am on the West side of the USA and I get the "game is full or the UDP port in not responding from server" a lot. I keep coming back after awhile to try again. I eventually can log on so you other pilots need to keep trying if this happens.

You already know ... 'though I did manage to log on yesterday afternoon. Once on, I have no problems. It's just that getting there ain't half the fun.

Dengar had that issue tonight and he is UK based but I did not. We are about 15 miles apart from each other. He logged onto Star port 6 just fine, disconnected then logged onto G1 OK.

A bunch of us got on today so all is not bad it just takes patience and persistence at times.

Ive never had this problem until now, was working fine earlier today, but now i get the: Connection failed, Ip adress may be wrong or blocked or game is full. Strange...

It can happen intermittently.

Might start to look like some "shaping" your ISP is doing or other network management issues.

Have your tried asking your ISP about those SB?
