Trying to raise my rep, not getting increase with anything

So im in Pearl, trying to get it so the navy doesnt want to make my ship into chunky kibblets. And ive done a half dozen contracts or so. I accept a quest, fly into a zone, lob a fulcrum and kill a dozen rebel and guild ships, but im STILL stuck with energy at 27%, Navy at 20% and the Miners at 41%

Been doing this for about a half hour or so, so i dont know if the faction rep changes happen every few cycles or so. But im a bit confused on how to make them like me.

It can take a LOT of missions to see any change. Keep trying. Be careful with the FT's as if you kill :)friendlies it will NOT help your rep.

But fulcrums are basically my only option. Not good enough to take on 12-9000000000 ships flying within 30 m of each other I get torn up in seconds or im busy dealing with missiles and get torn up in seconds.

Ah...it DOES take a few cycles for the changes to go into effect. I went AFK for some food. When i got back, Energy is up to 29 (+2) and Navy is up to 22 (+2)

Still...gonna be a LONG road...wish i could just go to the system capitol and say 'here 400 million dollars, please be my friend'

If your still in a low end ship run non-combat missions in Sapphire. When you afford a better ship buy a tractor beam and do some mining. In the beginning you will 100,000 credits then a million credits a run depending on the number of cargo bays. Go to Pearl with a ship with as many cargo bays as possible and be an arms trader and make billions. I built 7.5 billion credits being an arms trader. Avoid fighting when mining.
